What I’m Loving Now

Happy Monday, y’all! OK, I really don’t know what’s so happy about it, except I have a few great product recommendations (all on my own, no one asked me to write this), and what better way to start the week than with the temptation to buy some beauty products?

So we all know how cold it is outside, and that winter often leads to dry skin. Here’s what’s in my arsenal to combat this problem right now:

Body Shop’s Body Butter

I grabbed a few of these small pots the last time I was in the Baltimore airport, and let me tell you, I don’t leave home without one right now. The lotion is so thick, it’s like slathering icing on your skin. My favorite scent is satsuma because it smells like orange juice! Yum!

Sally Hansen Callus Remover

I realize this is kinda gross, but don’t hate. You know your feet get rough in the winter, too. Use this before bedtime, then Sally Hansen’s foot lotion, throw on a pair of socks, and you’re good to go.

Stila’s Kajal eyeliner

I’m not great with liquid eyeliner, but this pencil goes on so smooth, it might as well be liquid. I have it in a dark purple (which I’m not sure they make anymore) and brown and it’s the only eyeliner I will probably ever buy.

Bumble and Bumble Hair Thickening Spray

I’ve honestly only been using this for about a week (my new hair stylist, Molly, at Morgan Ashley Salon gave me a sample!), but I am loving it. I spray it on my wet roots and then blow dry my hair upside down until it’s mostly dry. Then I use a round brush to create some shape, and that’s all I need! If you have fine or thin hair like mine, try this!

Are there any new beauty products that you’ve been loving lately? What do you do for dry skin in the winter?

It absolutely is! I highly recommend it. It’s not like other pencils that can clump. I find it always goes on smoothly. Listen to be talking so passionately about eyeliner! But I love it!
