Well, it’s Dec. 2, and I have completed one goal for the month already — find a good planner for 2016!
OK, so that’s not much of a goal. But because I really want to kick off the next year by pursuing a couple big goals, getting a planner where I can keep track of everything — including my job, blog ideas, social activities, workouts, etc. — was high on my list.
December is definitely one of those months where the activities pile up — I have at least three social events scheduled for each week before Christmas! But I’m not complaining; I love this time of year!
I still have a few goals I’d like to accomplish, however. Two pertain to health and fitness and one to fashion.
Here’s what I’m working on this month:
- Running/walking 20 miles in December, plus one other workout each week. Last month I only ran/walked for exercise, so this month I’d like to add a different type of cardio and/or strength training.
- Keep within my daily/weekly Weight Watchers points. Apparently Weight Watchers is rolling out a change to its plan soon, and I’m really interested to find out what it will be! In the meantime, I will diligently track what I eat and be very, very honest. Even if I don’t lose weight this month, I’m OK with it. I just want to maintain over the holidays, and start off on a good foot for 2016.
- Clean out my dresser drawers. I can probably list off right now several items stuffed inside my dresser that I haven’t worn in at least a year. It’s time to let those pieces go! I plan to make a donation by the end of the month and clear up some space on the shelves in my closet, as well.
Besides these goals, as I said earlier, I’m working on some big things for my blog for the next year, and I can’t wait to share everything with you!
