Fall Fashion Statement Skirt

Sometimes all you need is one piece that stands out, catches your eye and makes you strut to work or on a date with your head held high.

For this fall, that piece for me is this new pencil skirt from Eloquii.

I’m no stranger to patterns — I love polka dots and stripes, and flowy, patterned tops are a favorite.

But patterned bottoms are a departure for me. I’ve been wearing more printed pants as of late, and this colorful, geometric pattern is just the modern feel I needed to add to my wardrobe.

I paired the skirt with a simple black sleeveless blouse, also from Eloquii, and last season’s olive green wedge booties. Or I’ll pair it with a patent black heel for a date night outfit.

I felt more comfortable wearing the sleeveless blouse untucked, but I would definitely wear it tucked in when it gets colder and throw on a blazer and opaque tights.

Do you have a statement piece for fall that you can’t wait to wear? Tell me about it!

I have a micro suede skirt the color of saddle leather that looks great with a conch belt and almost any kind of top. It almost reaches my ankles and looks like it came from the Southwest. Soft and surprisingly light, (for the eyelet work at the waist) it’s a joy to wear but it really belongs to autumn. I love it!
